The construction of the Osei Academy premises has been privately funded. Now, initial start-up investment is needed before the school can operate sustainably, including curriculum development, teacher recruitment and training, and to ensure the first cohort of students can be welcomed in 2018 and beyond.
$2,500 will pay for one student’s tuition for a year, with at least 25% of students paying no fees
$35,000 will train the teachers needed to give the students the best possible education
$50,000 will pay teachers’ salaries for a year
$55,000 will cover full curriculum development and teaching and learning materials
$80,000 will fit the Academy with classrooms and facilities
$345,000 will pay for the initial garment manufacturing machinery costs
